Ha! You fell for it! It's actually a .030 over 455, so a 462.

What's it going in? A GTO? Oh I see your avatar is a 70-71? GTO.

'69 Firebird. This is the third engine I'll be putting in it in (I believe) as many months. Hopefully, since this one is being built with it in mind, it'll last a bit longer.

Yeah if I squint I can see that it is a firebird, dang avi's are too small. I've always loved firebirds and GTOs. I had a 68 Camaro back in high school, had to sell it before I left for the Army though. It was just a base 327 but I loved it.

Well mine was an ever-so-slightly-above-base HO 350, but a bad head gasket and a track day at Thunderhill have changed that to a 462.

(Monty Python voices)
Mrs Robinson: No, ... I've been shopping.
Mrs Non-Robinson: What'd you buy?
(Pull out to reveal a pepperpot. Mrs Non-Gorilla sitting beside a radio on a park bench.)
Mrs Robinson: (on radio) A piston engine.
Mrs Non-Robinson: What d'you buy that for?
Mrs Robinson: It was a bargain.
